Hi, and welcome to the Stephen Hill website. For those of you curious about who I am and what I'm all about, I hope this answers a few questions. I was born in Missouri and raised in South Carolina into a musical family and began singing at the age of 14 months, or so I'm told. My public debut came in church a little later at the age of two and I was "on my way" from there. We sang in churches and on local radio throughout my childhood and I joined my first band at fourteen and knew this was what I wanted to do with my life. Upon reaching adulthood I was fortunate enough to make my living as a musician, playing guitar & bass as well as singing. After moving to Nashville in the early nineties, I was fortunate enough to make a living as a studio musician (singer), lending my talents to a variety of records and television projects. With the help and encouragement of some good friends and really talented people, I have come full circle to my gospel roots with the release of my first solo project, Nothing In The World. This project reflects a lot of musical influences and personal statements and I can only hope they are universal and will touch you, the listener. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.
